● Piano Works – Værker for klaver
These pieces of music is not entertainment, it’s work. They are not definitive recordings, but are only provisional versions solely meant to demonstrate how I imagine the compositions can be performed by 1, 2, 3 … piano players. All original instrument voices are transcribed to midi piano notes, except for MFPI 29, where the voices of bass and strings are kept, and HAGE, which is constructed from original recordings of small bits played on a Steinway piano at the museum Nivaagaard.
Some of the original demo versions can be heard in my archive, if you search under the year of the composition in question. Many of these works, like FUTTE KOM HJEM, FRÆS and MØD MIG I ÅRHUS, was arranged for bass, organ, synthesizer, electric or acoustic guitar, drums, sound effects etc. A few, like FUTTE KOM HJEM and ALFABET, had also vocals. LILLIPUTTING, written for the video installation work Gulliver Ravels, was meant to be a string quartet. All this I have tried to recreate with the use of only piano.
